Under no circumstances does the quality of a shoe depend on the price, Kostuj emphasizes. “A 150-euro shoe is not better than one for 39 euros.” The Hamburg orthopedist Walpert sees no relationship between price and quality. He advises against only cheap specimens. Even jogging shoes are perfectly okay. “Many doctors now wear running shoes.”
Birkenstock not Generally Healthy
In the past, Birkenstock sandals were considered to be especially healthy.
