the blood pressure is an indicator of a
lot of things that could be going wrong
or right within your body so it’s good
to be informed so let’s open up the box

instructions and everything in here but
I’ve used these before so I know how to
use it but if you use one read the

on that so I’m going to take this stuff
out here so it tells you where to put
the cuff and everything’s great
instructions here tells you exactly
where to put it gives you an arrow and
it tells you here
where your shoulder needs to be lined up
so they thought this out really well it
gave you a really good instruction they
made this easy so I’m going to slide my
arm through here okay there we go and
this needs to line up just right okay
we’re gonna pull this make sure that’s
nice and tight grip tight and like I
said before make sure you read the
instructions
I’d use one before so I have a good idea
on how all this hooks up so that that
lead on the cuff plugged into the
machine and this is a screen here and
just gonna sit my arm down here because
they want it chest level and I’m gonna
hit the start button here
your systolic blood pressure is 131
millimeter of mercury piller your
diastolic blood pressure is 74
millimeter of mercury piller and your
heart rate is 85 all right so as you can
tell it had really cool music kind of
calming classical music to soothe you
while you’re getting your blood pressure
reading done this particular reading was
131 over 74 and so they’re doing their
guidelines based on the World Health
Organization guidelines which is the
international organization that governs
readings and and standards for for help
so 131 over 74 not bad I like the top
number to be a little bit lower because
that’s that’s the top number is really
important and usually it is lower but
I’m doing a video now and I’m all pumped
up for you so so it’s a little gonna be
a little bit higher but according to the
World Health Organization standards
that’s a normal reading no need for
alarm but so again this is the paramedic

for about twenty three twenty five
dollars it’s is it it’s as probably as
accurate as you’re gonna get for a home
blood pressure reading obviously you’d
want a health care professional to take
your blood pressure when you get a
yearly physical done or or something
like that
