from the back of the unit and place two
AAA batteries into position with a tape
underneath them fold it back over and
slide the lid back into position and
then connect your a BPM unit to the USB
interface cable the cable goes into the
bottom of the port on the unit itself
and then into the USB port on your PC or
laptop now open the cardio perfect
software and if the patient hasn’t had a
24-hour test on our system before click
on patient in the top left hand corner

in their name
and if you want to you can put the
gender and the date of birth click okay

the patient has had an AVP before go
into the Welsh Allen software and using
search input either their surname or NHS
ID number click on go and their details
will appear in the database and having
highlighted their name then click on the

software communicates with the device
and a box appears on-screen which says

takes from the PC now when the unit
first inflates the cuff it’ll go to 160

to next time if it needs to go above 160

put the unit into the pouch and worn by
the patient using either the shoulder

before they come in to have a shower and
wear some loose fitting clothing
now after 24 hours the patient comes
back again

patient you must take the blood out of
the cuff like so and then thoroughly
wash the cuff before giving it to a new
patient you can do this in a washing
machine or hand wash it it can’t be
sprayed or just wiped to start
downloading the results from the unit to
your software
plug the USB cable into your PC with the
other end connected to your AVP in it
and go in to the cardio perfect software

and time you’ll see the ABP icon and the
date and time when the test was set up

screen will display a read measurements
box click on that it communicates with
the device and the screen will then
display a message which says ambulating
blood pressure measurements read back if
the patient’s number and name are
correct it also tells you how many
measurements have been taken during the
24 hours click OK a download of 24 hours
worth of data takes approximately 10
seconds and once it’s downloaded the
unit memory is cleared and it’s ready
for the next patient you can view the
results in many different formats by
going into the software and selecting
the tabs at the top of the screen for
example the trends tab will show you a
graph of the entire 24 hours and the
summary tab will give you the whole test
average for systolic and diastolic
readings any of these reports can be
saved as a PDF file for attaching to
your patient record system and finally

If you’re looking for a home blood pressure monitor that delivers clinical accuracy and convenience, consider the Welch Allyn blood pressure monitor. Its one-button operation makes it easy to use and read from home. Many models have smartphone apps that allow users to store their readings and send them to a doctor’s office at any time. These devices are ideal for diabetics, as they can help save lives when the patient is away from a monitoring station.
This company’s blood pressure monitors are easy to use and come with a variety of useful features, which will enable doctors to quickly and accurately diagnose hypertension symptoms and treat the underlying causes. Each model has a simple and intuitive touchscreen to provide fast and accurate vital sign monitoring. While these devices are small and convenient, they provide the same level of accuracy as larger, more expensive models. For this reason, physicians and other health care providers will want to consider Welch Allyn’s cuffs.
In addition to blood pressure monitors, the company also offers a variety of accessories. The Durashock DS55 has shock-proof technology, which makes the device last longer and produce more accurate results. This aneroid blood pressure monitor has a screw-decompression valve that prevents it from overheating during measurement. The Durashock DS55 monitor can be paired with a digital thermometer.
The DuraShock DS66 is a manual aneroid blood pressure monitor with a laser-engraved dial that gives you lifetime readings. The DuraShock DS66 also features a non-grease system with a trigger air release valve that’s easy to operate with one hand. A laser-engraved dial helps you see the needle more clearly and provides optimum accuracy.
The Allyn ABPM is easy to use and offers a lifetime warranty. This is a great option for patients who are constantly on the go. Its one-button control lets you monitor your blood pressure while you’re in any situation. You can even drive it when you’re not at your desk. The Welch Allyn blood pressure monitor is a great option for home use. The 1700 model has a built-in sensor that compensates for less than ideal conditions. This means that the Welch Allyn blood pressure monitor will not be inaccurate under all circumstances.
The Welch Allyn blood pressure monitors are accurate and can be used anywhere. The device’s algorithm is the same as that used by professional grade devices. Welch Allyn Blood Pressure Monitor Guide
Some of the digital blood pressure monitors from Welch Allyn are digital and some of them are not. Some of the monitors come with the digital blood pressure cuff which you have to place around your finger. The other type of digital monitor works by sending a reading to a cuff worn on your wrist. Most of these cuff monitors will give you an alarm and a number of other things, when the pressure of your blood increases. Many people find that they do not have to use an alarm on the digital blood pressure monitor because they are alert enough to know that it has increased. However, some people do notice the alarm on the monitors they use and this is something that can keep them from using the product if they are aware of the alarm feature. A good digital blood pressure monitor will help to tell you your blood pressure and will allow you to set it yourself whenever you want. You can use this information to keep your blood pressure in check and to make sure that you get the proper amount of exercise. If you are taking medications for any medical condition, you should check with your doctor before you use a blood pressure monitor so you can make sure that you are not alerting yourself to problems that could be easily prevented.
The Allyn ABPM is easy to use with a single fingertip control for dialing your blood pressure at the touch of a button. With this sophisticated technology, the patient can now check their blood pressures while they are sitting, sleeping, driving, gardening, and just about any other activity that requires a finger to tap. A high-quality monitor will also allow the patient to easily input data from multiple monitors and perform multiple calculations, including calculation of resting pressure and peak flow. This means that the doctor can quickly evaluate all levels of health during routine follow-up visits. This is especially important if you have multiple monitors and multiple cuff sizes. In addition to the convenience of the single-touch dial, the Allyn ABPM 8100 is virtually waterproof with a multi-layer, water-resistant, fully stainless steel body. It also has a self-contained blood bag that automatically inflates and deflates according to the measured blood pressure. This innovative technology allows you to easily measure and inflate your blood bag without having to stop your activities. Also, the ABPM is equipped with a unique electronic blood valve that regulates the blood flow. This valve prevents excessive flow or insufficient flow of blood, resulting in a soft, comfortable pressure feeling as well as a reliable and accurate reading.

Very simple to use. What I like about this device is that it appears to have *some* memory storage. I usually take my readings while holding my phone close to me. I took a few readings without my phone and a reading of my husband’s blood pressure. The device added the three readings to my app the next time I connected my phone!
I didn’t mind because removing the reading from my husband was simple enough. It might be a little easier to share this with two people if you can just erase any readings you don’t want. It’s enticing me to buy the scale, which also works with the app.
Overall, the app is simple to use, and the device is even easier to use. Put the cuff on your arm and continue. The reading takes less than a minute, and you don’t even need to turn it off because it shuts down automatically. It’s precise and straightforward. Unless you require larger or smaller cuffs, I believe the 1500 model will suffice for everyday home use.
Extremely long-lasting and precise. It has been very useful to me over the last few months. As a clinical clerk (4th year medical student), I used it to monitor hundreds of patients per day. It is liquid resistant, which makes it convenient to clean and sanitize.
However, after only 6 months of heavy use, the print on the cuff appears to be fading. It’s not a big deal, just wanted to let you know.
I have complete faith in Welch-Allyn. They manufacture high-quality, high-performance products. When it comes to performance, this one is no exception. The shock-resistant feature is well worth the money. However, in terms of quality perception, I’m a little disappointed in this product. The plastic cuff, as mentioned by others, feels cheap and frail, and the sphygmomanometer does not rotate. So, if you try to measure blood pressure in the opposite arm, you’ll have to disengage the sphygmo and reattach it in the desired position – not convenient! Still, it’s an accurate product from a reputable manufacturer, and it gives me confidence that I’m reading a genuine BP. I believe that for a relatively inexpensive product from a well-known, high-quality manufacturer, one should not expect this sphygmo to address all of the ergonomic issues that one might have. Welch-Allyn has other, much more expensive, sphygmos with the same quality but more comfort.
