Withings Blood Pressure Monitor Guide
To use this monitor, all you have to do is attach the monitor cuff to the appropriate arm. A special receiver piece fits right on top of the cuff and measures the pressure that is being measured. This device was designed especially for the arm, so the receiver is very inconspicuous. It is also small enough that you can even wear it when you are sitting down! The Withings wireless blood pressure monitor comes with a transmitter, which has a receiver on the other end that is used to read the data from the transmitter, and the instructions for wearing the monitor. If you would prefer to use this monitor on your phone, the blood pressure cuff can also be attached to your phone using the Bluetooth feature on most android phones. You simply need to pair your phone to your monitor. Since your phone needs to be on, the android devices must also be on as well to receive the information from your monitor.
The built-in battery, which lasts for several hours between recharging, allows you to maintain constant monitoring without having to constantly look at the watch. Also, it comes equipped with several reference devices that automatically measure your pressure as you change them. These include the sweat rate, heart rate, and the ambient temperature. When the ambient temperature begins to increase, the monitor quickly measures this increase in order to determine if you should make a change in your settings. In addition to being able to quickly determine when you should make changes, you have the option of setting the monitor to monitor and analyze up to seven different reference devices. Like all of the top brands in the health and fitness monitor industry, the Withings Smart Blood Pressure Monitor comes with a free, two-week trial to try out the product. With its affordable price tag, there really isn’t any reason to not get in on the action. Not only does the Withings Smart Blood Pressure Monitor work as the ultimate blood pressure device for your home, it also is a great way for you to get in shape and stay in shape. You can set the monitor to monitor your pulse rate and give you an alert when you begin to experience symptoms of high blood pressure. You also have the option of setting the device to monitor and analyze your GPS readings. If you suffer from chronic hypertension, you won’t need to worry about your high pressure ever again.
First off, you should change the battery every time you turn it on or have it run through its programming. This is pretty self explanatory, but it’s good to be reminded. By doing this, you’ll be sure that the pressure on the cuff is accurate and doesn’t fluctuate as much as it can on some monitors. This should go without saying, but you should always make sure that the battery is fully charged before you use it. Finally, you should change the battery when it’s getting older. This goes without saying, but the manufacturer recommends it so that you don’t have to worry about your pressure gauge depleting as quickly. That’s right, some of these things monitors last for years, even decades! But the battery life won’t last forever. Soon it will start to lose its ability to give you the correct reading, which will happen even more quickly than if you hadn’t switched it on in the first place!

I had been using traditional BBMs for so long that I had forgotten how far science had come. This one is fantastic. Simple to use, easy to transport, and small enough to take on trips (especially with the optional case). It sends your vitals to you via WiFi or Bluetooth on your phone. It can even assist you in becoming healthier. This is a fantastic device.
I’ve been using Withings devices for almost 5 years. I’ve previously used Blood Pressure Monitors from Withings and Omron. I also compared clinical BP measurements to readings from my personal BP devices.
As expected, the Withings software on the BPM Connect worked flawlessly, uploading readings to the cloud. The Withings iOS phone app or web browser can then be used to access all data. Apple HealthKit is also fully integrated with the data.
For two weeks, I used the new BPM Connect. When compared to my older devices used at the same time, the BPM Connect’s Systolic and Diastolic BP Readings were consistently elevated (by 10-20 mmHg and 8-10 mmHg, respectively). My previous device readings corresponded to clinical measurements. This means that the Withings BPM Connect I had was systematically incorrect by a large enough margin to change the clinical diagnosis. My arm circumference is 13”/33 cm, which is at the upper end of the device’s allowed range.
My interactions with Withings support were positive, but no solution to this problem was discovered. When taking the measurements, it was obvious that I was following the correct procedures.
I returned the unit because it was faulty. I’m concerned that this new product line may have a problem with consistently reading high for users with larger arms. You should read other posts to see if this is seen by other users and if it could be a problem for you.
I’d previously used Withings products and enjoyed them, so when I opened the box, it was as simple as opening the app and connecting the bpm to my phone. The batteries were installed in a sealed box and the ends were protected with plastic on the bpm. It was brand new, and if it wasn’t, it would be obvious.
It took about a minute to connect it to the Withings health mate software before I was able to take my first blood pressure reading. The measurement was as precise as any other arm cuff, and the device is very quiet and comfortable to use. My phone is running Android Pie and the most recent app. We tested this cuff on five people and found no errors. I’ve been using it on a daily basis for a few days now, and I’m confident that it will continue to work. If you enjoy Withings products, you’ll enjoy the BPM.
