Holmes Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier Brief Overview

hey what’s up guys this is steph
from mystic future and today i’m doing a
very quick overview
of how you can use the homes ultrasonic
cool mist humidifier with
food grade hydrogen peroxide you can
just kind of combine
the hydrogen peroxide with distilled
water and add it inside
of the ultrasonic cool mist humidifier
and this creates a very nice mist
that you can breathe and it really
cleans out
your lungs and detoxifies your kind of
entire
system um because hydrogen peroxide
is one of those little known secrets
that is so good for you
it’s very similar to water actually um
bling difference is hydrogen peroxide
has an extra
atom of oxygen so um
this is why people talk about using
hydrogen peroxide to
oxygenate your body um a lot of people
are really
lacking oxygen so when you deliver
that extra dose of oxygen to your
system this is um there’s a very good
chance this
could help you and do very good things
for you
so really quick uh the most
basic ratio that is
known to work very safely for hydrogen
peroxide is about
one cup of distilled water so that’s
about half of this bottle this is a 16
ounce bottle we’re going to use about
half
okay so people usually use about one cup
of distilled water
to five to ten drops
of hydrogen peroxide um that’s very
little
hydrogen peroxide and by the way this is
three percent
food grade hydrogen peroxide so it’s
very important to use
three percent food grade hydrogen
peroxide
when you are either con consuming
um hydrogen peroxide in a drink a lot of
people add it to their drink
and just drink it or you can obviously
use it in
the humidifier like we’re doing right
now so
the point is to use very little bit of
very little when you’re first starting
so five to ten drops of the peroxide is
let’s just
let’s just start with half a teaspoon
right that’s
you just need very little to kind of
find out how well it works with your
system so we’re gonna add
that to the
humidifier wrong cap
put that on there and all we do now
is the humidifier
and we’re going to plug it in
and press the button and that’s it
that’s your cool your hydrogen peroxide
in the form of a cool mist
that you would inhale deeply for a
couple seconds
hold it in and then exhale and that’s it
that is all you need

Holmes Cool Mist Humidifiers

The Holmes cool mist humidifier produces clean, purified air from a rechargeable coil that sits atop a housing unit. This unique humidifier contains a carbon-based filter to trap odors and impurities for healthy, fresh air. It also delivers quick, continuous cool mist with a gentle mist nozzle that is perfect for refreshing any room in your home. It comes with an Adjustable Air Pump to customize the cool mist delivery rate.

This is one of the most innovative and energy-efficient air conditioning systems on the market. The Holmes cool mist humidifier has two separate water tanks that are placed on opposite sides of the humidifier base. The warm mist humidifiers require two separate water tanks so it can be recirculated. Each tank holds enough water for complete replacement of each mist without using extra water. This is great for people who don’t want to use up extra water on their cool mist humidifiers.

The two water tanks allow for maximum water vapor transmission for an optimized humidification experience. The humidifier features a built-in hygrometer to monitor the humidity level in the air. The humidity level is pre-determined, which allows you to precisely adjust the humidity level without turning on the unit. Once you’ve determined the right humidity level, the hygrometer will turn on and run for five minutes to get the humidifying process started. The humidified air is then released through the side vents to be dispersed throughout your entire house.

A water tank is not included with the Holmes cool mist humidifiers, but it can easily be purchased separately. They make a wide variety of selections with different sizes and functionality. There is a water tank that can be used for hot water and one that is designed for storing the dryer fluid. It is important to know exactly which type you need based on how often you plan to use it. The larger the water tank, the higher the volume of humidified air produced. The larger water tank models have a wider coverage area and are used when more people need to be humidified.

The two main features to consider when choosing Holmes cool mist humidifiers are the size of the tank and the design of the filter. Most models come with a small tank that holds less than one quart of water. Some larger models can hold up to three quarts of water. The size of the filter is also important because it determines how many allergens can be removed from the air.

The higher output settings on most of the Holmes cool mist humidifiers feature a stronger jet stream that gives better circulation. The water tank in these models is designed to hold larger volumes of water that enables the humidifiers to produce a stronger spray. The lower output settings on these units usually feature lower humidity outputs that provide more comfort settings for the users. These higher output settings also help to conserve energy because fewer humidifiers are running.

When using a Holmes cool mist humidifier, it is important to remember that although it is a warm mist humidifier it does not feature a cool effect so there are some drawbacks to the product. The first major drawback of this unit is that unlike other brands of warm mist humidifiers it does not have a dehumidifying effect. Some users may find this a big disadvantage but most users do find the lack of a dehumidifying effect negligible.

The size of the water tank is also another drawback of Holmes cool mist humidifiers but the manufacturers have addressed this issue by including a replaceable water tank that can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement. The size of the water tank should also be compatible with the size of the model that you have purchased. You can save extra expenses if you purchase a unit with a replaceable water tank rather than one that is large and expensive.

We’ve been using it for around a week and a half, and our two-bedroom condo is at 50% humidity. It’s fantastic! It was absolutely silent.

We do use Walmart store-bought water and only refill a gallon at a time. Since our tap water contains calcium, there is no need to disinfect.

This humidifier is well worth the .85 per gallon it costs to keep it running for years.

  2. Forb

This is a very simple device that is most likely worth the money. There are no bells and whistles; you simply raise the roof, dump in water (but not so much that it spills out the back vents), and close it (and you do have to look). The four stars are due to the fact that it is not well produced, and I am concerned about the durability of the sponge-like substance that absorbs the water to be vaporized. This seems to be something that needs to be replaced, as well as a mold magnet. I’d like to hear other people’s thoughts on this and see if there are any alternatives. But so far, so nice, and not too expensive. Don’t expect me to hand it over to my children.

  3. Michael Johnson

For about a year, this machine worked well, but then it began to make very loud moaning and vibrating noises. The noise was caused by a cheap fan inside, which had obviously failed. I might repair this thing and stop adding another giant piece of plastic and electronics to the waste stream if I could get my hands on a new Malata model DB5015SH fan, but the component is $15 plus shipping to fix a device that can still be had for $30 from some sites. It’s a pain. It’s a compact humidifier with shoddy second-rate electronics, not a rare collectible.
