Last year, Holmes “W” filters vanished from the market. Other sizes were available, but not W, which is required for the WeMo humidifier. Around the springtime, filers reappeared in “improved” style and at a much higher price. Unfortunately, the lifespan of this new improved filer is much shorter. Older filters were perfectly fine for 9-12 weeks. I was able to reset the filter status in the WeMo app, which gives me about 6 weeks of filter use without actually changing the filter.
