all-plastic humidifier it comes with a
tank as you can see through the water
here there is a cap that unscrews with a
little bit of a rubber seal around it
actually not much of a seal but a little
quarter inch thick seal and this is the
unit here that actually is a valve as
the water goes into the humidifier to
heat up the tank it’s a little warm you
put cold water in it or cool water but
it it tends to warm the water up a
little bit you have the switch here you
have off low and high and then a reset
so this will humidify 2.5 gallons in a
24 hour period and this is a one gallon
tank so you can’t obviously it’s going
to drain out so you need to reset it
between fillings so that because it’s
going to automatically shut itself off
you have a power light here on top you
have a great where the steam comes out
it’s hot but it’s really you can’t
barely see any steam coming out so it’s
not pouring out of there but it is it is
it is on you do have to take this apart
this full there’s a lever in here this
will come off and you need to clean this
it is all dishwasher safe not this unit
but this part here will come off so
these three main parts here come apart
for cleaning and you’ll need to do that
otherwise it’s not going to work
for very long so if you should read a
bad review and somebody says it wasn’t
working there is a possibility they
weren’t cleaning it keep in mind that
you’re not supposed to put it on a wood
surface we’re in the test mode here so
we’re on a countertop don’t put it on
wooden floors we have a glass top stove
we usually put them on but if you’re
going to keep it in a bedroom or
something keep the door open and keep it
off the furniture keep it in a place
that if it does get wet that you’re not
going to be terribly upset and it does
have a little metal plate on the bottom
but it does get warm
and even put my hand right here the
countertop is warm this little tiny
short quarter-inch teeth on the bottom
that kind of gets it off the surface but
it doesn’t get it and doesn’t get it off
very far so I would like to have seen it
up a little bit I would have liked to
seen the whole bottom to be a metal
plate and I would have liked to have
seen that seal over there be a little a
little better but it does tend to work
it’s fairly inexpensive and it is a warm
mist which you know is debatable whether
that is better than the cold mist or not
so do the research look it up anyway I
did want to give you a an idea of what
it looks like

and carrot carries one gallon read all
the instructions before operating it
