hi everybody this is fox nomad and today
i want to help you travel smarter by
taking a look at this portable
humidifier now if you’re a digital nomad
or you travel very frequently we all
have this kind of verge or feeling to
get the things that we get as portable
and a humidifier might not be at the top
of your travel list but it might be at
the top of your list of things to get
for your home or if you do travel a lot
for your hotel room if all the dry air
especially in the wintertime affects
your sinuses or if you’ve got sinus
issues then you might want to get a
humidifier so I found this one on Amazon
it’s the MZ TDY TL anyway I’ll leave a
link in the description below so I
picked this one up there about $15 on
Amazon I wanted to see how well this
little guy does so it’s USB power plug
it in and this thing is designed to be
able to humidify a large hotel room or
about that size so what I’ve done is I
decided to take one of these I pick one
of these up from Amazon and decided to
test it out now I have a humidity
monitor over there but you can take a
look at but first before we get into the
experiment I wanted to open this little
guy up and show you what’s inside the
box
hi there future me just a quick note
that I fir cut to hit record on the
second camera so I had to rerecord it
and that’s why I’m not talking in this
part but I am talking over this unboxing
alright so here you see clearly from
China at the box LED light see they
maintain step show which I thought is
great this
yeah open this up these two cigarettes
and things which I assume are gonna be
the water filters and there we go
there’s your portable humidifier that’s
what it looks like a really nice sleek
matte finish design it’s got this power
on and off button right here and it’s
USB power now I didn’t notice doesn’t
seem to be a USB cable in the and got
your USB cable here to charge it and to
power it so there we go and the little
water cup pull that off to get into to
change the filter I guess there’s
already a filter in here I’m just gonna
leave that as be not the most intuitive
design I must say and what I’m gonna do
is plug it in like I said I have a
humidity monitor setup and I’m gonna let
this run for about thirty minutes and
then up to an hour just to see how much
this affects the humidity in this
particular room which is quite large so
this is the equivalent of a large hotel
room let’s see how well this little guy
does and while I’m testing that in the
meantime let’s get into the specs and
take a closer look at this little
humidifier now the first thing I noticed
when I took this out of the box was just
how nice it felt so it felt a lot more
premium than a $15 humidifier that I got
off Amazon it looks a lot nicer than it
actually is the black matte finish is a
really nice touch and overall the design
is very sleek and this humidifier which
doesn’t have a good name so I’m just
gonna keep calling it the portable
humidifier but it weighs about eight
ounces which is 225 grams and it
measures thirteen by seven by seven
point three by six centimeters it’s not
very big I’d say about the size of a
soda can and it holds about 200
milliliters of water and it’s designed
to just use water so it’s not made for
essential oils or perfume or anything
like that and I would recommend using
filtered water it will help the
humidifiers filter last just a little
bit longer and help you avoid
calcification as well this humidifier
has two modes but it’s really four modes
so the first mode is a continuous mist
mode this
mode is an interval mode so the motor
will turn on and off every two seconds
or so and you can combine those so you
can have a continuous mist mode with the
light you can have an interval mist with
the light or both of those modes without
any kind of light at all each setting is
made after a long press of about two
seconds and this humidifier does have an
automatic shutoff when the water runs
out which is a nice feature to have a
lot of the competing humidifiers at this
price range don’t have that feature and
the instruction manual shows that 200
milliliters of water will go about four
to nine hours and another thoughtful
feature is this USB plug on the back so
you can use it to let’s say plug in a
mouse or maybe charge your phone it’s a
nice feature to have that way this
humidifier doesn’t steal that USB port
from you as far as this humidifiers
impact on my battery life on my laptop
when I was using it battery only I
didn’t notice a significant drop in the
battery power I would also recommend
keeping this a little bit far away from
your electronics if you are gonna use it
plugged into a laptop you don’t want the
miss to be going directly into your
laptop or around your electronics so if
you have the desk space you can move
this humidifier just a little bit
further away from your electronics if
possible it’s probably not a good idea
to keep it too close to your laptop so
the humidity in the room didn’t really
change but obviously this thing is
putting out water into the air and I
didn’t notice it I did notice the sort
of the cool mist as I was working
although I didn’t have it this close to
my laptop I didn’t want it this close to
the electronics but otherwise as far as
what it is of all the portable
humidifiers it seems to be the most
popular one on Amazon or at least the
most highly rated and for 15 bucks it’s
not a bad deal so if you travel a lot
and the humidity in your hotel rooms
because of the heater or the air
conditioning or just the weather outside
is affecting your sinuses this might be
a little nice option that’s not too
expensive to try out for your next trip
and for making it to the end of the

Small Humidifier Review
A small air humidifier is designed to bring fresh air into your room and to provide relief from an otherwise overburdened air-conditioning system. If you want to find one to fit your needs, it is important to look at the features of the unit and the specifications that it can provide.
Smaller units are usually more portable than larger ones and are more convenient to use because you can simply throw the small unit away when you do not need it. This makes them easy to keep on hand and you can also put one in your closet for storage and another in your bedroom to give you a fresh air environment. They are often used in bedrooms for their therapeutic benefits and are often used for allergy relief.
Smaller units are often easier to clean and maintain. Many of the models you can purchase today are dishwasher safe, and some of them can be vacuumed by hand. Some units can also be wiped down using an alcohol solution to clean up dust and dirt.
Another benefit of a small air humidifier is the fact that it can be used as a source of relief from a dry throat. These humidifiers work by bringing moisture into the air to keep the dryness away, and they can provide some relief to those that suffer from a dry throat.
If you are in the process of finding a small air humidifier to provide relief to your allergies, it is important to look at the various available models. You will want to look at the cost of the units as well as the size that you can purchase and the amount of time that it will take for it to clean.
A small air humidifier can be used to provide relief to those that suffer from allergies and other respiratory issues. If you do a little bit of research online, you can find a unit that will fit your needs and then you will be able to keep one in your bedroom or in your closet to provide relief to those that suffer from allergies.
A small air humidifier can be used to keep your home comfortable when you are experiencing symptoms that can cause a runny nose or it can also be used to help you get relief from the symptoms of a cold or flu. You can get relief from your symptoms by having your air circulating and fresh, clean air circulating in your home.
One of the great benefits of a small air humidifier is that it can provide you relief from the effects of mold. Some units will not only eliminate mold and other allergens from your home, but they can also help to maintain the environment around your home by eliminating harmful allergens.
You can use a small air humidifier to make sure that you and your family get the relief they need when it comes to being a victim of allergies and other respiratory issues. The amount of money you will be willing to spend on one of these units will depend on the amount of time you need to use it, and on the type of unit that you purchase.
Pros of small humidifier
- Portability: Small humidifiers are typically lightweight and easy to move around, making them a great option for travel or for use in different rooms of the house.
- Cost-effective: Small humidifiers are often more affordable than larger models, making them a cost-effective option for those on a budget.
- Improves air quality: Small humidifiers add moisture to the air, which can help reduce dryness, irritation, and static electricity in the room. This can be especially beneficial during the winter months or in areas with low humidity.
- Reduces snoring: Adding moisture to the air can reduce snoring, as dry air can cause the airways to be less lubricated.
- Easy maintenance: Small humidifiers are typically easy to clean and require little maintenance.
Cons of small humidifier
- Limited coverage: Small humidifiers are designed to cover small spaces, so they may not be suitable for larger rooms or open-concept living spaces.
- Noise: Some small humidifiers can be noisy, which may be a drawback for light sleepers or those who are easily disturbed by background noise.
- Risk of bacterial growth: Without proper cleaning, small humidifiers can harbor bacteria and other pathogens, which can be harmful to respiratory health.
- Risk of burns: Warm mist humidifiers boil water and can pose a risk of scalding or burning if not used properly or if they are knocked over.
In conclusion, small humidifiers have their benefits and drawbacks, and it is important to consider the specific needs of the space and the user before purchasing one. It may be helpful to consider factors such as the room size, noise level, maintenance requirements, and safety features before making a decision.
Small Humidifier Guide
A warm mist humidifier works on the same principle that an air conditioner does – it creates an environment where the moisture is evaporated into the air instead of being held in the air by moisture. The air conditioner works in much the same way, except instead of blowing cool air, it blows warm air. Warm mist humidifiers work in a very similar fashion as air conditioners, except instead of blowing cool air through a window in a room, it blows cool air through a tube in the lid of the unit. These humidifiers are very portable and can be taken anywhere in your house with you. They can be brought along in a car to help with a sick child’s breathing and they can even be taken on vacation and used while someone else sleeps in a hotel room because they are so compact and easy to transport. You also want to make sure that you take good care of your humidifier. This will ensure that it will work properly all the time and that it will be easy to clean and maintain. There are several different steps you can take to make sure that your humidifier works properly and that you will be able to get the most out of it when you are using it. Just follow these simple tips and you should be able to find a great humidifier for your small space at a price that you can afford.
When you’re thinking about getting a small power humidifier for the furnace, remember to think about the size you need. Don’t just go for the biggest box or the most expensive model that you see. A small unit is not going to do you any good if it doesn’t fit in with the size of your room or your house. It’s a good idea to take measurements before you decide on which one you’re going to buy. This way you can be sure to get a unit that will work for you. Another important thing to keep in mind when buying small power humidifiers for a furnace is to know what you’re going to be using them for. This way you can find out if it will be effective for your needs. For example, if you’re only going to be using it in your bedroom and bathroom to add some extra moisture, you don’t need a large humidifier. On the other hand, if you’re hoping to use it in your kitchen so you can add more humidity into the air, you will need something that is much more powerful and has a wide range of applications.
A warm mist humidifier for a small room is one of the best humidifiers you can buy. These are great because they work well to make breathing in a room fresh without causing any sort of health problems that you may end up with as a result of breathing in the steam or vapor from the warm mist humidifier. There are a few different types of warm mist humidifiers, but the most popular ones are the mini types because they are portable and lightweight, and because they are very easy to store. If you want to learn more about these cool little tools, then make sure you read this article.
If you need a small power humidifier for the furnace, you should consider getting a few for different areas in your home. This will make it easier when you have different rooms or areas that need some humidity added to the air in them. There are a lot of places where having a small unit such as this would be beneficial. For instance, if you have a basement that needs a little bit more humidity than other areas of the house, you can get a humidifier there and give it a try. Also, if you have an attic or other very dry areas of the house where water can get inside and dry out the air, you may want to consider getting one.

What I like about it: It’s beautiful, it’s quiet, and the lights are fun and brighten up my office. It does increase the humidity in my tiny office. It has an automatic shut-off feature.
What I don’t like: I bought this humidifier to replace a previous small humidifier that was housed in a 20 oz water bottle. It used about 20oz a day and never left my office too dry. Unfortunately, it perished. So I bought this to add humidity to my extremely dry office. My office is just 100 square feet, so this little guy doesn’t add much humidity. Even after wearing it for several hours, my clothes and hair are staticky and extremely dry. My office plants are also parched. Maybe if I had four of them, it would suffice. In an 8-hour work day, the daily production is just around 3-4 ounces (half of the water capacity). I am dissatisfied, but I have waited far too long to return it. It also leaves a layer of white dust on my desk, which I have to clean once a week.
I recommend this product to any female employees who work in a “dessert” setting. The air conditioning in the winter makes the room still dry, which causes my skin to lose water and age quickly. When I’m working, I can easily plug this product into my laptop’s USB port. It lasts around 5 hours on a single charge. I got one in blue for myself and one in white for my roommate. The blue color is not as deep as seen in the photo, but the white one is adorable. It was a big hit in my room. I’d really appreciate it if anyone got this for me as a present.
So I just received the humidifiers (two were ordered) today. They are very lightweight and have a good appearance. Here’s what I think based on my first impression:
Pros:
Peace and quiet
Looks good
Convenient
Reasonably priced
Filling up is easy.
Simple to assemble
Cons:
Can’t see how much water is left (there’s a little window that should show how much water is left, but it’s so dark that you can’t see it).
The intensity dial is completely useless. It has little power over the majority of people. It produces the same results regardless of how low or high the dial is set.
The cord should have been a little bit thicker.
