helped my little ones breathing at night
and it also takes something really handy

what it has is vapor pads so you can buy
these separately you don’t have to use
them but if you’re a little one sick or
you are these little pads come in handy
so you can get menthol and you can get
lavender I believe it takes up to two at
a time a helpful tip it says in the
manual don’t use these if you have a
little baby that’s less than 10 pounds
so that’s good to know these pads only
lasts up to I think they said eight
hours so I need to take my notes I’ve
been using it I think for two days oops
I need to go get some more but not
necessary you don’t have to use those
okay and what else do you need to know
the spout here at the top is directional
so you can move it around don’t face it
against the wall okay just face it out
an auto-shutoff that’s what I love about
this unit so not only is it filter free
it shuts off automatically you might
forget that it’s on and I think that’s
an important safety feature to have and
not all humidifiers have that so that’s
really good to know what kind of water
to use if I were you I’d be using filter
the filter free filtered water at Brita
water would be great
why if you have hard water which most of
us do people online I’ve noticed myself
it actually leaves white residue over
your firm

about the noise really it’s not that bad

This appears to be a decent humidifier. I’ve only had it for about three or four weeks, so this isn’t a long-term report. However, I also received an Anypro Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier 3.5L, so I can compare the two. Personally, I think this one is better.
This one carries more water, is heavier, and runs for a longer period of time. When both are set to big, it does not produce nearly as much steam as the Anypro. However, I find that the high setting is sufficient for me. I keep it close to my bed, because unlike the Anypro, which leaves a very moist surface underneath it when set to heavy, the Vicks V4600 does not. The Anypro could be a better choice for someone who requires a lot of mist in the room.
I purchased a Vicks cool mist humidifier a few years ago and used it every night, and the soft hum combined with the cool air put me to sleep. After that, I moved and never saw it again.
