California Pacific Medical Center is among the biggest not-for-profit medical facilities in California. At four sites located across the state, offer outstanding inpatient and outpatient patient services, such as innovative pediatric care for infants and children, heart transplants, advanced orthopedics and specialized cardiology and trauma services. In addition, the Center offers complete vision care and many other specialty services. It also coordinates the coordination of many other medical facilities throughout the Bay Area.
The hospitals at the California Pacific Medical Center are staffed with highly experienced doctors, nurses, technicians and allied health care staff, who are committed to providing state-of-the-art patient care. These hospitals feature a dedicated emergency department with a full staff of physicians, surgeons, psychiatrist and emergency medicine specialists. Some of these doctors have more than 40 years of experience. They are well-trained to deal with all types of emergencies, and provide comprehensive emergency care. Many of them are members of the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
The hospitals at the California Pacific Medical Center have also set up an emergency department dedicated to providing high-quality patient care within its premises. This department handles all types of patient emergencies, which may be life-threatening or may require cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). It also deals with non-life-threatening emergencies, such as fainting, dizziness, ringing in the ears and unconsciousness. The center’s emergency rooms have fully equipped diagnostic and operating rooms, which have full amenities, ranging from fully air conditioned patient rooms to fully equipped laboratories. It is home to the California Pacific University, one of the oldest medical schools in California.
