Clovis Community Medical Center is a four local treatment and care community medical clinic located in south Clovis, Nevada. This community is strategically located near the highways 95 and I-80. Since the main hospital is over 100 years old it is not as up to date as the latest facilities available. This means that the waiting times are long sometimes for patients. The Clovis community medical center staff does not put forth any effort to make their services accessible to those with limited mobility. They use a standard operating procedure that makes everything appear more organized but does not make the waiting time shorter.
Clovis Community Medical Center is not very well equipped for a wide variety of medical treatments. It does provide a few of the basic services such as mental health screenings, flu shots, and allergy testing, but there is no specialty departments. In order to receive a specialty treatment you will need to make an appointment at the nearest major medical facility to accommodate your care. If you have insurance coverage, your medical bills are covered, however you may be subject to a deductible when your insurance provider pays for the bill. Your co-payment is also an additional fee which you will be responsible for.
There is nothing wrong with calling ahead to make an appointment if you have a scheduled procedure or wait and hope that a family member will fill in on the details. However, by having the wait and go attitude you may only aggravate your problem. If you have questions about the care you are receiving and feel that you could benefit from additional services, then make an appointment. You can do this at the main facility or have it transferred to your family member’s care.
