The La Puente community is a unique, scenic location in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains. The center was founded by the Pastors of the Year and provides a multitude of therapeutic activities for adults, teens and children in the community every day. Activities are scheduled throughout the year and the outreach ministry sponsors special events that bring people together to promote wellness and community building. There are over forty churches in the La Puente Valley and many houses of worship as well.
People in the La Puente community have a strong commitment to promoting social justice and environmental protection. The La Puente Community Mental Health Center has been very active in its community outreach and works closely with other nonprofit groups and government agencies.
