This is a lovely chair. BUT it’s difficult to get the bottom down before coming out of it. To get it to close, I have to get out and kick backward on the bottom.
I believe it is past time for manufacturers to catch up and make it easier to close the bottom of these recliners. Why can’t they in this day and age? Don’t they realize that many elderly people depend on these chairs to relax? They’re making a mess of things. I’m sure if they solved the issue, they might sell a lot of recliners, but they’re stuck with old technology and can’t seem to get it fixed for us senior citizens. I don’t need a lift chair; all I need is a comfortable recliner that closes quickly. In addition to millions of other individuals.
I purchased two of these seats. They arrived a day earlier than anticipated! So quickly put together! Both chairs were out of the box and assembled and ready to use in less than 5 minutes, no joke.
