I’ve recently decided to write a review for this fantastic mattress! So, my wife and I purchased this mattress about two years ago, and we must admit that it is the best mattress we have ever purchased or slept on.
To give you some background, we’ve owned mattresses ranging in price from $900 to $1300. The most recent mattress was a $1300 mattress from a well-known brand. We could feel every spring in that mattress stabbing us all over our bodies after 1.5 years of use. We decided to give this mattress a try after being dissatisfied with “natural” mattresses, and the comfort we have experienced with it far outweighs any shortcomings.
Advantages:
1. The price is unbeatable.
2. It’s the most comfortable bed we’ve ever had.
3. The memory foam has no dents after two years, and it still returns to its original form.
4. There are no springs in it!
Negative aspects:
1. This is a tank of a mattress! You’ll need a gorilla in the closet to wrestle this thing to its final resting position and rotate it. We haven’t felt compelled to rotate it, but we do it anyway.
2. The chemical smell is very unpleasant when you first open the box and roll out the mattress; I think it lasted about a month before it went away absolutely, but it does!!
I’ve only had this mattress for two months, but it’s incredible!!! I used it in a 32′ RV with a short queen bed. It feels identical to my $4000 Simmons Beautyrest, which I’m 6’4″ and 260 pounds. Of course, the Dynasty Mattress replaced a 3″ RV foam mattress (see photos) that came with the RV, so ANY upgrade would be welcome. Throwing the 3″ foam piece of trash on the burn pile felt great! I’m pretty sure the people who leave these poor reviews lament all of their lives. Oh, and did I mention the pillows that came with it? I was afraid they would be like my lousy Tempurpedic pillows because they started out so skinny, but the Dynasty pillows grew.
I ordered this after I couldn’t stand Serta from Sam’s because it was too hard on my hips and too sticky. When it arrived, I gave it 48 hours to grow. ADVANTAGES: The price includes a 14″ mattress. There isn’t much of a chemical odor. I sleep better, have less hip pain, and it isn’t as hot as my previous Serta mattress (but we are not into summer months yet either – I m in FL). The addition of two pillows was a nice touch (those do have smell though). MINUSES: The sides of the bed are way too squishy; if you lie next to one, you feel like you’re going to fall off; also, you can’t sit on the edge of the bed to put your socks on because it sinks too far.
