today we’re going to be doing a review
over the Serta 18 inch raised queen
comfort top air mattress I purchased to
that target list price is one ninety two
ninety nine two pumps guaranteed comfort
it has a pump that automatically go set
it to whatever comfort level you want it
will inflate and then once it in play to
the pump level that I automatically shut
off you’ll leave it plugged in for the
ringing of the night and it’ll maintain
that same comfort by what you selected
take a look at what’s in the box
Hey
this is the comfort top sheet that comes
with disclosure and then you have our
matchless we’re going to plug this thing
up this is everything that comes in the
bag the box and we’ll figure out how
long it takes and play
okay guys I’ve plugged up the cord to
the electrical outlet I measured the
cord it is eight feet long by 8 foot 1
to 2 inches but comfortably without
completely scratching it out there
looking at 8 feet plenty of distance you
have the different settings you have off
of course we’re going to infirm medium
plush and then if you want to this is
the knob that you turn here this for the
settings how how you want it actually
you’re comfortable to be so I’ll go firm
just to see how long it will take max
and then this black knob is gonna you
want to inflate it or deflate it then
you have here just instructions turn
Comfort adjust style to desired firmness
turn switch to inflate deflate and it’s
a deflate all you have to do is just
switch it to the deflate this black knob
and then this hole here is I don’t know
what that is there may be a coupler I
don’t know is that support I’m not sure
but we’ll figure that out so we’re gonna
hear you have a LED light switch which
is supposed to be a nightlight you have
a output for a USB you can charge your
phone things like that’s pretty neat I’m
gonna be using this for camping so of
course for this to work it has to be
plugged in so you know you’re used for
it will be different so I mean use firm
inflate and then we’ll see how long it
takes
okay guys on the firm setting it took
exactly five minutes to air up
completely on firm feels pretty firm
what happens is once you got to the firm
setting this is pluck from inflate
automatically hit to off so you can
literally walk away put it your firmness
and plate and don’t even worry about it
it’s going to automatically cut off
develop that keeps it pumping air now
the featured the top feature to it that
never flat one there’s a sensor inside
the bed that wants to start sensing it
coming off with a firm setting start to
fight in a little bit there’s a silent
pumped out it’s gonna automatically kick
in and re-inflate it let’s test it when
see it says firm let’s see what
everybody feels like
so yes it is really firm I’ve been on
air mattresses where that once you get
on it you’ll feel it you’ll sink in this
this doesn’t seem that awful those
amazing it feels funny and I said oh
side to side
nothing it feels great
as you can see these little bubbles in
here supposed to be some type of oils
that that help get you a better night’s
sleep
let’s see what the bottom looks like
barbar bikini okay guys as you can see
the only thing we haven’t even look at
is the I guess we will be considered a
comfort top part of the mattress the
only difference that I saw between this
one and the one with no comfort top is
the white would anchor on top the one
was a non comfort top it was 161 the
only thing I see there is washable
please comfort top accessory included
for added comfort one six two one one
eighty two I don’t think it would be
about a $30 value for this but hey
everybody has different different things
that they’re looking for it seemed like
it lived up to the hype for me 192 was
the price
the only other feature I have not tested
is the USB function does it turn your
phone oh that in here grab the
phone it works perfect
I’ll get an open place it actually
inflated within five minutes let’s see
how quickly it deflates all I’m gonna do
switch this over a deflate

Serta Air Mattress Deals and Discounts

Serta Air Mattresses

Serta is a well-known manufacturer of mattresses and they offer a range of air mattresses as well. One of the benefits of using an air mattress is that it allows you to adjust the firmness of the mattress to your liking, which can be especially helpful for those with back pain or other health issues.

One Serta air mattress that stands out is their NeverFlat technology mattress. This mattress uses air coils and a pump to maintain its firmness throughout the night, which can help prevent sagging and discomfort. Additionally, Serta offers a variety of air mattress models that cater to different needs, such as twin or queen size, with or without built-in pumps, and varying levels of thickness and firmness.

Overall, while individual experiences may vary, Serta’s air mattresses can provide a comfortable and customizable sleeping surface for those looking for an alternative to traditional mattresses. It is important to remember, however, that a good mattress is just one part of healthy sleep habits, which also include a consistent sleep schedule, a comfortable sleep environment, and good sleep hygiene practices.

Serta air mattress pros:

  • Affordable: The Serta Basic air mattress is one of the most affordable beds available, providing a lot of value in this price range.
  • Easy to set up: It is easy to set up without the need for refilling.
  • Durable: Air beds can last longer than traditional innerspring, latex or foam mattresses, with an average lifespan of 15 years.

Serta air mattress cons:

  • Seal may loosen over time: The seal of the Serta Basic air mattress may loosen over time, affecting its performance.

Serta Air Mattress Guide

Bag for Serta air mattress

While Serta air mattresses often come with their own carrying bags, if you need a replacement or additional storage options, there are options available online.

One option that may suit your needs is the sealable bag designed specifically for memory foam or inner spring mattresses. These bags are equipped with a compression feature that allows you to shrink the mattress down to a manageable size for storage or transport. They also come with a leak-proof valve and double zip seal to protect your mattress from any moisture or dust.

Another option is to look for generic air mattress storage bags that come in different sizes and are made from durable materials that can withstand wear and tear. Some of these bags may also come with carrying handles for easy transport.

Proper storage not only prolongs the life of your Serta air mattress, but it also promotes healthy sleep by ensuring that the mattress stays clean and free from dust mites and allergens. So, investing in a good quality storage bag is a wise decision that will save you money and help you get a good night’s sleep.

  1. Bires

The Serta mattress is both comfortable and easy, and the never-flat pump functions flawlessly. However, this mattress is just a temporary solution. When the mattress is inflated, the top of the bed is dimpled with round coils, which produce hundreds of stress points. These stress points’ seams WILL FAIL. It’s simply a matter of time. Worse, since the stress point is a seam, the leak would most likely be a tear rather than a puncture. The tear will continue to form, and there is nothing you can do about it. All of this is complicated by the mattress’s top, which is made of a felt-like material rather than vinyl. The felt adds to the warmth, but patching the top of the mattress will not work.

  2. Jon

I bought this bed a while ago. Probably more than a year ago. I’ll tell this about the bed. It is extremely simple to use; simply plug it into the wall, turn the key, and it will automatically inflate and shut off at the correct pressure. On a cold winter night, when the temperature drops and the pressure in the bed drops, the pump turns on and holds the bed completely inflated, and it’s fairly quiet, not enough to wake a light sleeper. Finally, it is reasonably convenient.

Here’s the problem. After more than a year of sporadic use, the mattress detached from the pump control and became practically useless due to its inability to retain air.

  3. George

My son sometimes has overnight guests (kids), so we thought this would be a good option.

I personally checked the mattress: it was simple to set up, and I was rolling onto it in less than 5 minutes thanks to the fast air pump. The mattress is a little firm, but I like it. Anyway, after about 6 hours of sleep on it, I’m diving into the mattress because it was losing air so quickly. I checked it and found that after around 5-6 hours, it had lost nearly half of its air, making it uncomfortable and unusable. I double-checked the valve but couldn’t do anything.
