My first test resulted in a positive. Because it was so cheap, I decided to compare the results to those of a Clear Blue Weeks Estimator. The same results!
When I used this pregnancy strip with SMU, the line was quite visible (not a squinter). I was probably 10 or 11 DPO at the time.
What I don’t like about this test is that it says on the back that it’s a Wondfo; however, on the Wondfo website, this vendor isn’t listed as one of their approved vendors. It has caused some consternation. Having said that, I still believe it is fairly accurate. To make sure it wasn’t a bad batch or an indent, I used another strip without holding it later that first day I tested, and the line was much fainter, almost invisible. As a result, there were no false positives.
My husband and I decided to begin trying for a baby in January, so I ordered these to ensure that I had plenty of tests on hand as we began our journey. We didn’t need them all because I got pregnant that first month! My dates aren’t exact because I didn’t take an ovulation test, but my cycle tracking app indicated that I ovulated between the 18th and 19th. This test was negative on the 27th (8-9 days post-ovulation). On the 29th (10-11 days post ovulation), I tried again and thought it was negative, but I looked one more time before throwing it out and there was the tiniest, lightest pink line. I couldn’t tell whether it was a line or a shadow. I hadn’t gotten my hopes up because I’d read about a few false positives in the reviews. On the 30th (11-12 days post ovulation), I took two more tests, and both came back with solid pink lines!
I’m now eight months pregnant and have given these to a few of my friends who are also trying. They gave me a lot of peace of mind to have on hand when we were trying and worked fantastically for us!!
