What I Look For In a BBT Thermometer

hey guys is Victoria and welcome back to
some head today I want to talk about
thermometers thermometers are horrible
doug sirmons idioms are all servomotors
i want to talk about the difference
between thermometers and how to know if
your thermometer is broken possibly
finding a new thermometer or how to
choose a thermometer in the first place
when I started trading I started
charting with this thermometer it’s I
got it from Target and this was my
thermometer that I used for years and
years and it worked really well until
recently and then I started doing
research and I found out that this
thermometer is kind of notorious for
choosing temperatures all right enough
that’s a thing but that’s what people
said it got to the point where I had one
of two temperatures every single morning
I knew that I had much more of a variety
in temperatures that you can have two or
three days of the same temperature in a
row and I don’t think much of it but
when it’s it when two weeks of one of
two temperatures I’m like Katniss’s does
not seem right and so I started looking
into it I was like I was going to get a
new thermometer if you’re new to
choosing a thermometer and you want to
start turning there are awesome
thermometers out there you know
technology is amazing thing we’ve come a
long way but you don’t have to spend a
ton of money you can go to your local
drug store or a store like Target
Walmart something like that and pick up
a thermometer for under ten dollars that
will be perfect the one thing that I
always tell people when they’re trying
when they’re first choosing a
thermometer is you want it to be labeled
as a basal thermometer or a basal body
thermometer basal thermometers are more
accurate if any of you out there chart
you know that your temperature – like
the tenth of a degree matters and so you
don’t want something that isn’t as
sensitive or accurate so these are
actually two thermometers that I pulled
out of our like medicine cabinet and
these are just generic normal
thermometers when you think you might
have a fever or something and you don’t
want to use any old thermometer to chart
this is my Daisy I’ve had I’ve used it
for years now I want to say and I love
it I think it’s great I love that this
option is out there and a lot of people
love the Daisy and I love the daisy and
there are other other nice timers like
this as well but if you’re like I can’t
afford that
does
I mean I can’t chart of course we can
chart this one is I think it was eight
or nine dollars from Target and then
this is the one I actually got just last
week it was eight dollars from Walmart
and I’ve been using it for about a week
now I am back to having a range of
temperatures from my you know to
temperature scenario that I have at this
one
so I’m saying here is most people come
forward an $8 or $10 thermometer and so
don’t let the price of a thermometer
stop you or think you need a fancier one
then you actually need to get yourself a
drugstore thermometer just make sure is
the basal thermometer people always ask
me ejections for what type of
thermometer they should get my biggest
tip ulation when choosing a basal
thermometer is the beep when you’re done
taking your temperature I don’t have
with me right now but I have a basal
thermometer that it was this like shock
your soul out of slumber and it was too
loud and too just obnoxious for the
morning time let’s do an example real
quick
your Achilles tendinopathy fancy if
you’re new to charting look up a diagram
on the internet or somewhere of like
where you’re supposed to take your
temperature in your mouth you want to
find your what it’s called your hot
pocket what’s this thing called oh of
your tongue anyways we want to choose
one side of that I always go to this the
right side tuck it in that pocket keep
it consistently in that same spot every
single time to take my temperature
consistency is key with the fertility
awareness method and anytime you’re
taking your temperature regardless of
what method it is actually yeah I get a
lot of questions all the time about what
what thermometer to choose you can go on
Amazon or you can order them online just
make sure that you’re a basal
thermometer and it doesn’t have to be
expensive they start out at like a
couple dollars like eight dollars and
they can go all the way up to a couple
hundred dollars all right guys that is
what I have to say about thermometers
right now this is the current one I’m
using to rely on and I’m pretty happy
with it so far I haven’t had any issues
thank you so much for watching and I’ll
see you guys in the next video bye

BTT Thermometer Review
Getting your basal body temperature (BBT) checked at least once a year is important for two reasons: firstly because it helps keep track of your menstrual cycles and secondly because it is used to monitor your pregnancy progress. Knowing the level of heat that your body is feeling at any given time, or in the case of a woman whose menstrual flow has yet to begin, is an important tool when trying to conceive. Keeping track of what your BBT level is will help you identify whether your temperature readings are consistent with your periods and whether they are increasing or decreasing.
In order to do this, there are two types of thermometers that you can buy, either digital (which reads your temperature via an electronic signal) or analogue (which uses a mercury strip as a reference point). Digital thermometers usually have a sensor that is read via a computerized interface on your PC, either by means of a USB cable or through the built-in serial port. The sensor is read by the computer, in the case of a USB probe, and then displayed on the screen. The problem with analogue thermometers is that they can’t be read by a computer directly, which makes it a little bit more difficult to interpret the results as accurate.
Having your BBT checked every month will give you a pretty good idea of when your pre-menstrual level of temperature is, which will help you plan ahead for the best time to ovulate. Your post-menopausal body temperature will stay consistently about the same for many months if you keep track of it. However, ovulation will occur only after the level of heat that your body is feeling is in a relatively stable state. This means that if you do not ovulate, your level of heat will remain constant and you will only know when it does happen by reading the temperature of your urine.
Pregnancy will have very different effects on your body, so you may find that your BBT fluctuates dramatically or even very slightly. However, the level of heat that your body is feeling during pregnancy should stay constant or increase slightly. You will most likely be slightly warmer than when you are not pregnant and you will most likely be feeling more tired.
If you are having trouble conceiving, you will need to wait until your pregnancy progresses and then start to monitor your temperature. You may also need to monitor your temperature if you want to check if your period is coming on – which is the best time to get your basal body thermometer checked, as you should be able to predict if it will be close to the right time. If you suspect that you may be ovulating before you actually ovulate, you should have your thermometer ready before you go for your period. If you ovulate close to the right time, you will know when it is going to begin to fall off, or if you just do not ovulate at all as ovulation is unpredictable, you may need to check with your doctor before attempting to get your BBT checked. If you suspect that you may be ovulating too early, you can buy a basal thermometer which will help you ovulate for you by detecting heat changes in your body, which will make you ovulate earlier than normal. And thus help you to ensure that your ovulation is accurate and safe. Of course, this will mean that you have to be able to monitor the temperature of your blood to ensure that you are ovulating safely, which will mean that you need to monitor the temperature of your urine to determine the correct time.
It is advisable to buy a basal thermometer that will allow you to monitor the level of heat that your body is feeling in all four parts of the body at the same time, so that you can keep track of the temperature in all parts of your body at once, which will help you to know what temperature you should be having sex at. There is no other way to do this but with a BBT and, in this case, it is even more important because you will have to be able to predict the temperature of your urine to ensure that you have sex at the right time.
Basal Body Thermometer Guide
Basal body temperature monitors are also available on the market but they only measure the surface temperature of the water. They cannot determine if the temperature is actually changing because no sensor is used to track its changes. This is why you need to use the information from your thermometer to determine whether to baste shower or not. This is also the reason why it is not advised to use the BBT for betting or predicting fertile window dates. Using the BBT to find out your most fertile days is highly recommended to those who want to get pregnant easily. This is because using the BBT requires very simple methods and they are free from technicalities and hassles. This means that anyone can understand how it works and how they can use the app to their advantage. All you need to do to start is to download the app, provide some information about your menstrual cycle, and you’re good to go.
Many women do not know how accurate these kinds of thermometers can be. And even when a woman is certain she is ovulating, she may still not get the correct readings because of her metabolism. This is why it is very important to know your basal metabolic rate when you are trying to conceive at the same time. There are some thermometers which are designed so that the person taking the test can use them both at the same time. These thermometers not only give the most accurate results, they are also the most convenient way to conceive. The reason why a basal thermometer can give you the most accurate reading is because it is able to get the highest level of temperature readings without the necessity to constantly re-calibrate the machine. These thermometers have an internal digital display which will show different colors depending on whether the temperature is increasing, decreasing, or if it is stable. These thermometers can be set to different values, which gives you the ability to choose the temperature that is right for you to get pregnant at. It is extremely important that you know your own body temperature when it comes to trying to conceive. Charts and thermometers can help you understand what your own body’s temperature is doing and why certain temperatures are higher or lower than the others when you are trying to get pregnant.
Basal body temperatures are very important to many people especially those who perform extended physical activities during the day. If you are one of them, there are some things you can do to keep your temperature at a comfortable level. A basting shower can be one of the best things you can do to help regulate your body’s temperature. You may already have one of these showers installed in your bathroom or even your home. They are a special type of shower that uses a warm water flow coupled with a gentle massage. The combination of these two allows the user to experience a warm and relaxed shower while reducing the level of temperature change throughout the shower.
General thermometers are typically used for when you need a reading right away, such as after getting out of the pool. But a basal thermometer, which also called a medical thermometer, is an advanced thermometer designed specifically to measure basal, human body temperature. The difference between a basic thermometers and a base thermometer is that the more numbers displayed, the more reliable the measurement is. A basic thermometer only has three or four digits for the temperature. A basal thermometer has more numbers, and these numbers are usually displayed in digits form, such as “Fahrenheit”.

Using this inexpensive and quick thermometer, I became pregnant during my first complete period of “temping.” It takes patience to wait for the beeps, and some mornings I realized the number wasn’t right, so I took a second temperature. I started by testing the temperature under my tongue, but it’s actually easier to take the temperature vaginally. It was exciting to see the temperature and discover that I ovulated two days later than all of my apps expected! So, while we were taking a “break” from childbirth, we were losing out on my most fertile days because my apps told me it was done for the month. I realized I was pregnant before I missed my period because my temperature never fell, so I began taking pregnancy tests 2-3 days before and received my BFP.
It’s fast (a major plus! ), but the beep is very loud – not ideal if you need to calculate immediately after waking up and your partner is still sleeping. Also, you must read the temperature (while it is beeping) because pressing the button would reset it, which is not good in the morning. Often I measured two times in a row (say, one minute apart) and got results that differed by 0.3 or 0.4 – which is a lot of uncertainty when you’re trying to monitor a 0.5-1 discrepancy.
On the plus hand, it comes with a very useful scenario.
My basal thermometer arrived yesterday; it was delivered quickly. The instructions were simple to follow, and pairing it to the app did not require many attempts, as it did with another product I had previously used. Once combined, you can configure how loud the beep should be and how long the measurement mode should last.
I don’t know anything about this new system yet because it’s my first night, but I’m really enjoying how easy it is to use. When you open it to take your temperature, the device’s light is very dim, and it shuts off after 3 minutes so you can relax. When it gives you your reading, it will emit a soft beep and a light glow.
