this is going to be a review of the
weight watchers scale that I picked up
at Costco let’s see if there’s an item
number on here item 1 1 7 0 73 maximum
weight 400 pounds off fairly large
display glass well it’s not glass Oh
scale I was worried about this battery
rod 3 long life triple-a batteries the
reason I was worried about that is these
no not this brand but these scales were
being sold a couple years ago and after
the battery died there was no way that
you could change the battery I try to
take one of them apart and you just
couldn’t get in there to do you couldn’t
get in there to put a battery in they
were by the thing and when you’re done
when the battery’s dead throw it out so
I’m gonna do an unboxing of this after I
get this on a tripod okay hey if my
videos help you out please do a thumbs
off the subscribe or like if you have
something you want me to review let me
know if I can get a hold of it I will
and if you want to link this to any
website that would be awesome
this is a pretty heavy you know wow this
is a solid scale yes this has got some
beef to it
alright I don’t know if this is on the
early or I don’t know if it shuts off
automatically I have no idea maybe I
should read the instructions but no not
me I’m a guy so again if you want to
link this to any website that would be
cool definitely helps out my channel
this is a very classy looking scale
instructions don’t need that and a kick
off I don’t know if this is going to
come on display upside down or not
because I got the video camera facing in
the wrong direction we’ll take that off
because nobody is 128 point 1 pounds at
least not in the United States
okay give scale a quick sharp tap here
wait for 0 step on remove after reading
we’ll move after we will move this after
reading okay I I didn’t know if they
were talking about reading the book or
so this is some this is a nice adhesive
on here hold on to this in case I need
to return this so they want you to cap
on it come on
the same thing happened while I was in
the school I hope okay good this is the
thing for the battery that’s what I
wanted to make sure pull now it’s got
pounds and kilograms that’s nice a
little loss piece of paper over there
it’s a really nice look okay good it’s
on again when I saw this in the store it
was not on and I couldn’t test it out do
a little tap over here oh my god come on
what did the sticker say give scale a
quick sharp tap here oh it worked
quick sharp tap let’s go check it out in
another room with a scale like this
you’re gonna need to have a level floor
you really some scales might not need a
level floor with this one you’re going
to need hopefully I can tap it with my
foot here comes the dog the dog come on
come on dog wants to be part of the
video hey pooch that’s my rescue dog
that I just got almost six months ago
since she a sweetheart so she loves when
I do video reviews can I cap this with
my because somebody who’s 400 pounds is
not going to be able to lean down to tap
this thing okay I’ll get so turned on in
there and I just love it look at that
tail wagging okay so let me step on here
and see what I get here 164 164 this is
important now this is really important
164
and this is the reason it’s important
I’m going to press this button this is a
very accurate scale it’ll let it
calibrate they should have my socks off
but I’m gonna stand on here and this is
going to tell me
164 okay so this is good it’s good and
bad it’s good because the scale is
accurate it’s bad because I didn’t weigh
myself for a few months I was weighing
myself every day and that’s what you
need to do I don’t weigh myself for a
few months and I cranked out a lot of
weight way too much weight way way way
too much weight let’s see if I get
another 164 reading 160 4.2 so the scale
is very accurate and it is extremely
nice-looking that does not give body fat
but I kept this on sale at an awesome
price and it’s dairy it’s a nice scale
let’s see how long it takes till it
shuts off so if you’re in the dark not
mentally but if you’re in the dark you
cap it okay so it comes on it up you’re
supposed to wait for it to zero out so
if you’re doing this at nights cuz you
don’t want anyone to see how much you
weigh 160 4.2 it keeps going with that
number my review I’m happy with it it’s
a nice scale it seems to it’s definitely
accurate it’s consistent it is stylish
and you can put batteries in there when
the batteries go down so that’s going to
be my review hopefully it helps you out
make sure you watch all my other videos
thanks for watching

Conair Weight Watchers Scale Deals and Discounts

In an era where health consciousness is more than just a fleeting trend, tools that help individuals monitor and maintain their wellness have become indispensable. One such device that has steadily gained prominence is the digital scale, a testament to both its utility and the technological advancements embedded within it. This article zeroes in on one specific line of scales: the Conair Weight Watchers Scales. As two powerhouse brands converge, Conair, a beacon in personal care electronics, has intertwined its legacy with Weight Watchers, a global wellness company revered for its weight management programs. Together, they have embarked on a mission to provide users with scales that are not only accurate but also imbued with features catering to a holistic health approach. Dive in as we unpack the features, history, and user experiences associated with the Conair Weight Watchers Scales, and discover how these two giants joined forces to elevate the simple act of weighing into a comprehensive health experience.

Historical Context

  • Conair: Originating in 1959, Conair started its journey not in the realm of personal care electronics, but with a revolutionary hair roller that changed the beauty industry. Over the subsequent decades, the company expanded its horizons, delving into a myriad of products ranging from hairdryers to grooming kits, and eventually, health and wellness tools. Its reputation for combining innovative technology with consumer needs made Conair a household name in personal care and wellness products.
  • Weight Watchers: Weight Watchers, now rebranded as WW International, began its transformational journey in 1963. Founded by Jean Nidetch, it started as a weekly gathering of friends discussing weight loss strategies and blossomed into an international company. WW transformed the weight management paradigm, shifting the focus from mere dieting to a more holistic approach that encompassed nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being. The brand’s evolution was marked by its personalized weight management programs, which have garnered global acclaim.
  • Emergence of Digital Health and Wellness Tools: The last few decades witnessed a technological renaissance. As computers grew smarter and smaller, the health sector saw an opportunity to embed this nascent technology into wellness tools. The rudimentary scales of the past, which merely displayed weight, began to evolve. With the infusion of digital technology, modern scales began offering a plethora of metrics, from body fat percentage to bone density. Concurrently, the rise of the internet and smart devices facilitated the creation of health tracking apps and platforms, enabling users to get real-time feedback, set health goals, and even integrate data from multiple sources, including their scales. This digital health revolution emphasized a holistic view of health, mirroring Weight Watchers’ own ethos, and making the collaboration between them and tech giants like Conair a natural and synergistic union.

Tips for Buyers

Investing in a scale, especially one as feature-rich as the Conair Weight Watchers scale, requires some forethought to ensure its longevity and accuracy. Here are some buying and maintenance tips:

Considerations Before Buying

  1. Placement: Always place your scale on a hard, flat surface to ensure accuracy. Soft or uneven surfaces like carpets can skew readings. Ideally, find a dedicated spot in your home where the scale won’t be moved frequently.
  2. Footprint: Consider the size and design of the scale in relation to where you’ll be storing it. Some scales are sleek and can slide under cabinets or stand unobtrusively in a corner, while others may require more space.
  3. Power Source: Check whether the scale runs on batteries, is rechargeable, or plugs into the wall. Decide what’s most convenient for you and where you have an available power source if needed.
  4. Integration: If you’re already a part of the Weight Watchers program or use specific health apps, ensure the scale you’re considering integrates seamlessly with those platforms.

Maintenance

Tip Type Maintenance Action
Cleaning Use a damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals and submersion in water.
Calibration Check periodically, especially if the scale is moved frequently.
Storage Store in a location away from extreme temperatures or humidity.
Battery Care Replace or recharge before completely drained; check model specifics.
  1. Cleaning: Clean the scale regularly but gently. For models with a glass top, a damp cloth should suffice. Avoid using harsh chemicals or submerging the scale in water. Always ensure it’s dry before using it again.
  2. Calibration: While many modern scales self-calibrate, it’s a good idea to check the calibration periodically, especially if the scale has been moved. You can do this by placing a known weight, like a dumbbell, on the scale.
  3. Batteries: If your scale uses batteries, remember to change them when they run low. Using the scale with dying batteries can result in inaccurate readings. For rechargeable models, it’s advisable not to let the battery drain completely before recharging.
  4. Avoid Overloading: Every scale has a maximum weight limit. Avoid exceeding this limit to ensure the scale’s sensors aren’t damaged.
  5. Store Safely: If you need to store your scale, place it in a location where it won’t be subjected to extreme temperatures or humidity. Also, avoid stacking heavy items on top of it.
  6. User Manual: Always keep the user manual handy. It will provide specific care instructions for your model and can be a great reference for troubleshooting.

Remember, a scale is not just a tool to measure weight but a companion in your health journey. Proper care and consideration can ensure it serves you accurately and lasts for years.

Conclusion

In the dynamic landscape of health and wellness, tools that aid in consistent tracking become invaluable assets. The Conair Weight Watchers scales are a testament to this, blending precision, features, and user experience in one compact device.

  1. Rich

To wake up the scale, “tap” the bottle, according to the instructions. That didn’t sit well with me because I had to tap it pretty hard to wake it up. I felt compelled to tap it so hard that it broke. So I devised a solution: slide your toe under the glass, raise it an inch or so, and quickly lower it (just short of dropping it). This had the desired effect, and the scale quickly wakes up, and I am not afraid of breaking it.

The big digital readout is great because I can see it without my glasses first thing in the morning.

  2. Lora

I definitely shouldn’t say I love it because, relative to my 8-year-old Sunbeam scale, it added 2 pounds to my weight. But, unlike the Sunbeam, the weight calculation is very consistent, and it was within a few tenths of a pound of my doctor’s scale.

  3. Gray

Overall, the scale is very nice; it performs all of the functions that are advertised, but that is where it ends. You must fuse with the scale to get it on, and it might not read your weight at all, forcing you to start again. I’ve replaced the batteries several times with no success. I opened it up and took a look inside; the electronics seem to be in good working order, but they are cheaply made. I believe it is simply a design error. Since this is an older model, it’s possible that it’s been patched by now. It would be helpful to know if anyone knows how to solve this issue.
