We had a wheelchair-using family member visiting and were searching for a way to avoid wrestling with our two steps on the porch. These performed flawlessly! They were light, quick to line up, and took up little space when stored for future use. I’d like to point out that this product is more of a one-time use item. I’m not sure it’s a good match for someone who needs to use it constantly or by themselves. While the grading or angle was appropriate for someone to drive him up and down these ramps with relative ease, I don’t believe it’s intended for someone to roll up or down it on their own.
On the plus side, it folds down into quarters and comfortably fits in my van with the chair, people, and luggage. Another advantage is that I can use it to raise the chair one step with a rider or two steps without one. The surface of the ramp is grippy.
